I am a firm believer in the philosophy that hard
work and a positive attitude always brings good luck. In all of my
client engagements, I have strived to bring value in day one, and to
always bring "out of the box" thinking to the table.
I believe in a "realist" approach to business -- I have all the
textbook learning money can buy, but when push comes to shove, there's a
big difference between theory and practice. That practical
approach to business is what I offer my clients. Success doesn't come to those who
are theoretical -- success comes to those who take action and live with the consequences.
Over the past 14 years in my career, I have held several management and analyst positions of increasing
trust and responsibility. The greatest pride I have in my work is in the knowledge that I have concluded
each of my client engagements with customer satisfaction and with lasting personal relations with each of
my main client contacts. I like working with people, of all parts of the world, and it shows.
Most recently, I have worked for a mid-sized, public, multinational energy firm with operations
throughout South America. My initial role as an analyst grew into the development of their
Global Business Solutions area where I organised a project portfolio of over 100 projects of various
sizes for different functional areas and stakeholders.
This past year I contributed a chapter for publication with a book entitled, Information Technologies
that will Shape Your Future. The book will be published in Germany around July 2010. My contribution to this work is an exploration of the future of the Internet -- Web 3.0 and Personal Privacy. I am collecting my thoughts on my next 2 books, on a topic of personal interest.
